Project 2.2: Find a website with charts and run it against color blindness simulator; make recommendations for color adjustments if issues are found.

Task

Find a website with charts. To help you get started, we found a site with charts and graphs that potentially could be hard to read or confusing to colorblind users.

You may find your own site that has charts with colorblind issues. Take screenshots of problematic areas, sample colors, run them through colorblind simulators and propose alternative color solutions.

Tips

  • You don't have to "design" this exercise. Finding problems and suggesting solutions to fix them is the main goal of this assignment. You may use simple bullet points to illustrate your points, but make sure your document is still formatted and aligned.

Deliverables

A Figma document with screenshots and bullet point analysis with relevant visual examples.

Submission

After you are finished, save your Figma link for your review sessions when you will be discussing your assignment with your chosen expert design instructor. They will provide their email for you to share access to them and may ask you to screen share your desktop to show them your work.
